Wooden Magnetic ABC's

Wooden Magnetic ABC's

ABC
can be a great tool for your little one to become familiar with their ABC's. For children tactile learning is very important. So having these wooden ABC's is great because the shapes of the letters are there for the children to feel. The letters are also done in different colors. You can take those letters and make patterns with the different colors. You can even place the same colors in the same spot. It is also fun to take the various colors and have the names of colors written on the easel. Then the children can put the right color in the right spot, working on sight words. You can use the kids magnets ABC's too for beginning sounds of words. Place a letter on the magnetic easel or refrigerator and then use the other magnetic animals and have the children place them under the appropriate letter. For example: Lion goes under "L". Children love moving
around and even seeing how they repel off of one another. If anything a magnet is a great toy and you can use ABC magnets to let them learn while playing!

Stamps

What can you do with stamps?

There is a lot you can do with
. For younger children, you can take an easel with some paper on it and stamp away! It is good for them to use those muscles while holding their arms up and working on pressing that stamp on paper standing upright. When they are done stamping away - you can have them take a pencil and draw a line to the stamps that match. To take it a step further, have a number written on the paper and have your child use the kids stamp sets to stamp that many stamps next to that number. To take it a step even further have the children make a pattern using the kids stamp sets. You can do AB patterns, ABB patterns and ABC patterns. They will love making patterns with cool stamps. You can take it a step even further and have them group the stamps according to things they have in common. From number of legs with animal stamps to same type of hair with the friendship stamps. Lastly there is the obvious, just let your kids tell a story. Use the pencils included in our stamp kit to allow the children to add to the stamps with the "setting" for their story.
are just plain fun and you can do a lot of extensions with them if you desire. They are a great purchase!

Easels

Children's_Art_Easels
Do children really need easels? They just take up a lot of room...

are a great investment to make for young ones. The action of writing with your hand in an upright position on standing children's art easels develops muscles in your child's arms and hands that will allow them to comfortably hold a pencil in preparation for writing. Not only is an easel a great tool for muscle development but the chalkboard is very important for children to write on. When writing on dry erase boards, the surface is very slick and does not provide the restriction needed to help children when writing and learning to write various letters or numbers. The restriction that a chalkboard provides is a great way to help children develop writing muscles as well as feeling the control of how straight and curvy lines are formed. It is also a good idea to give children small pieces of chalk and small markers when writing on
. The small writing tools make children grip with their pointer and their thumb. It is harder to hold but is important for those fingers development and the children's hand muscles.
